Welcome AIA Maine's New Executive Director, Kelli Shedd!

Kelli Shedd, AIA Maine Executive Director

Dear AIA Maine Members,

We are pleased to announce that Kelli Shedd will join AIA Maine as our new Executive Director beginning March 18th. After meeting with several impressive candidates, our selection committee was excited to offer Kelli the position. Kelli's experience, interests, and enthusiasm align with the goals of AIA Maine. We believe she will be a valuable asset as we look ahead to the future of our organization. Kelli will be AIA Maine's first full-time Executive Director, marking an exciting milestone for our organization.

Kelli will work alongside our outgoing Executive Director, Jeannette Schram, through the Design Awards Celebration in May, to ensure a smooth transition for our programs and members.

Kelli brings over two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, and community engagement. With a background in fine arts and a passion for architectural heritage, her work blends creative storytelling with strong organizational management. Kelli has successfully led membership growth, fundraising, and outreach initiatives for various nonprofits, including notable efforts to restore and revitalize her hometown's historic Norway Opera House.
