Background: Maine's 2023 Legislative session directed the University of Maine System to study the barriers of mass timber adoption and growth in the state via L.D. 881.
The following survey was created and is being distributed amongst professionals in the commercial building construction supply chain with a presence in Maine.
This short survey will take approximately 5-15 minutes to complete and will be completely anonymous. Should you choose to provide your contact information at the end for a follow-up discussion, the subsequent meeting information will also remain anonymous outside of the core survey team.
Your participation is greatly appreciated by UMaine in supporting their Land Grant University mission, and recommendations on targeted legislation designed to increase mass timber project activity in the state and potentially support establishing a mass timber manufacturing facility in the state.
