BSA hosts: Designing Just Futures: Collaborative Practices for Spatial Justice

Thursday 9/19 and Friday 9/20, the BSA will host Designing Just Futures: Collaborative Practices for Spatial Justice which will bring together architects, designers, community organizers, activists and advocates to explore practices for designing more just places and spaces. We have an exciting list of participants, including an opening keynote conversation featuring Jha D. Amazi, Principal and head of the Public Memory and Memorials Lab at MASS Design, and Rev. Mariama White-Hammond, the recently departed chief of Environment, Energy, and Open Space for the City of Boston. The summit will include neighborhood site visits to East Boston with Eastie Farms, Roxbury with Reclaim Roxbury, Chinatown with the Chinatown Community Landtrust and Revere with Shirley Ave. Additionally, we'll co-host a welcome celebration at MASS Design on Thursday evening!
