Gawron Turgeon Dillon Architects, P.C. (GTD) is looking to add to our team of talented professionals. We are a collaborative architecture, planning and interior design firm dedicated to delivering thoughtful, high-quality design solutions. With a strong balance of technical expertise and creative vision, our team works across a range of project types, creating spaces that are both functional and inspiring. Located in Scarborough, Maine, our dog-friendly office specializes in senior living, financial institutions, corporate office spaces and buildings, medical offices, healthcare facilities, auto dealerships, mixed-use developments and multi-family housing.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join our team. This role involves contributing to all phases of project development, from concept design through construction administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, design-driven, and comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to travel to various project locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Develop design concepts and translate them into construction documents

  •  Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and details

  •  Collaborate with internal team members, consultants, and clients

  •  Participate in client meetings and presentations

  •  Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support permitting processes

  •  Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs during construction

  •  Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration

  •  Ensure projects meet applicable codes, standards, and client expectations

  •  Actively monitor project budgets and schedules

  •  Maintain a professional and friendly attitude

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

  •  Licensed Architect or on licensure track is preferred

  •  10 years minimum of professional experience

  •  Proficiency in Revit (required); AutoCAD, Twinmotion, Enscape, Bluebeam Revu and

  • Adobe Creative Suite are a plus

  •  Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and detailing

  •  Knowledge of applicable building codes and regulations

  •  Excellent communication and organizational skills

  •  Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
