WBRC Inc. is seeking a skilled, self-motivated Project Architect to join our collaborative team in Portland, Maine. This is an opportunity to contribute to a variety of project types - including healthcare, education, civic, andcommercial-while working alongside a multi disciplinary team of architects, engineers, and designers. We are particularly excited to connect with candidates who have an interest in Healthcare Design.
A position you'll love:
• You'll work out of our newly renovated office space with a great group of creative and passionate professionals
• You'll lead or support architectural projects from concept through construction
• You'll have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility
• You'll coordinate with clients, consultants, and in-house team members
• You'll contribute to firm-wide knowledge sharing through Lessons Learned sessions and mentoring
• You'll produce work primarily in Revit
• You'll have growth opportunities
A candidate we'll love:
• Healthcare design experience is a plus, but not required
• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch required)
• Minimum of 8 years of architectural experience
• Licensure preferred, or actively pursuing licensure
• Strong proficiency in Revit
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Thorough knowledge of codes, programming, construction documentation, and construction administration
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Possess professional drive and still have fun while you work
