JOB OPPORTUNITY:

Intermediate Project Architect

LOCATION:

Portland, ME (in-person required - do not apply for fully remote position)

ROLE:

AAmp Studio has several exciting residential & hospitality projects in development and is looking for an

Intermediate Project Architect with 7-plus years of post-graduate experience to join our team. You will

take a supporting role managing and developing these projects through schematic design, design

development, construction documents, permitting and construction administration.

adaptive reuse, and branding and graphic identity services, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach

DUTIES:

● Architectural design, detailing and documentation of projects

● Preparation of 2D and 3D drawings, from Concept through Construction Documentation

● Coordinating building permit documents & other applications related to planning/zoning and

building department approvals

● Able to lead projects, develop project schedule and workplans, and coordinate successfully with

team members and consultants

● Assist in marketing & business development efforts

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Minimum of 7 years full-time professional post-graduate experience

● Self-motivated, hardworking & responsible with ability to work independently and collaboratively

● Strong design skill and proven experience in producing and coordinating project drawing sets and

related planning/permit submissions through all phases of design.

● Strong proficiency in Revit & Adobe

● Working knowledge of Enscape (preferred but not required)

● Ability to complete full set construction documents and coordinate with consultants to resolve

technical details, coordinate building systems, code, zoning-by-laws

● Ability to coordinate with planning & building department officials for permitting approvals

● Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
