Architect / Design Manager

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic PWD-Maine, based at The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine is currently recruiting Architects, and soon to be licensed Architects (with five to fifteen years’ experience) for Architect / Design Manager Positions.

Candidates will have strong communication skills, excellent analytical problems solving skills, organizational skills, a desire to design exceptional architecture and lead teams that meet the challenging mission requirements of our clients. PWD-Maine offer professionals an environment that has developmental mentorships, technical training, and design rotations through the departments that plan, design, and construct facilities to support the mission of the United States Navy. Responsibilities include concept development, contract documents, construction support, A&E contract oversight, and project management for a broad range of buildings and construction types.  Viable candidates must be a US citizen with required documentation and pass background checks for appropriate security clearance.
