AIA MAINE 2026 DESIGN AWARDS SUBMISSIONS ARE OPEN
Submissions Now Open: AIA Maine 2026 Design Awards
Submissions are now open for the AIA Maine 2026 Design Awards, celebrating excellence in architecture by AIA Maine members across the state and beyond. The Design Awards program highlights work that demonstrates strong design thinking, technical skill, and a meaningful response to context, community, and craft.
AIA Maine members are invited to submit completed projects across the following Built Work categories:
Institutional and Commercial
Single Family Residence
Multifamily
Renovation and Adaptive Reuse
Small Projects (budgets of $500,000 or less)
Architrave (recognizing excellence in traditional design)
In addition, the program includes two Unbuilt categories:
Professional Unbuilt
Student Unbuilt
Projects will be reviewed by an independent jury, with the sole judging criterion being design excellence. Award recipients will be recognized at the 2026 AIA Maine Design Awards Celebration in May (date and location TBA)
Firms of all sizes and experience levels are encouraged to participate and share the work that best represents their practice. Full submission details, deadlines, and entry requirements are available through the Design Awards portal.
We look forward to celebrating the breadth and quality of architectural work by AIA Maine members in 2026.
