We are hiring!!! A Letter from AIA Maine’s President
Dear AIA Maine members and the Maine architectural community,
After more than a decade of exceptional service to AIA Maine, Executive Director Jeannette Schram has decided to leave her position to pursue new opportunities. Thankfully, Jeannette plans to stay on board to help with our transition to a new executive director in 2025.
Having worked with Jeannette throughout her tenure, I am overcome with gratitude for all that she has done for our chapter. Her dedication and good nature have helped further our growth and success, while her leadership has made our organization stronger and more resilient. On behalf of the AIA Maine Board of Directors, I would like to personally thank Jeannette for her efforts, talents, and unending support across all aspects of AIA Maine’s endeavors.
Undoubtedly, Jeannette’s announcement leaves us with the significant task of finding a replacement to continue her work. I am pleased to share that through the combined leadership of our chapter, work is well underway to fill the position in the coming months. We have posted a listing to the AIA Maine online Job Board (aiamaine.org/job) and ask that you share this with anyone with the skills and interest to apply for the position.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please reach out to me or Vice President Jessie Carroll, AIA. I look forward to the upcoming process and, ultimately, welcoming AIA Maine’s next executive director.
