New AIA "By The Numbers Report" recognizes OPAL and Kaplan Thompson Architects for meeting predicted EUI goals
Congratulations to members Kaplan Thompson Architects and OPAL for being two of only 19 firms to meet the 80% reduction in predicted EUI target across their entire portfolios in 2022.
The American Institute of Architects (AIA) published the newest edition of its annual 'By the Numbers' report, providing a detailed analysis of the energy performance of architecture and design firm signatories of the 2030 Commitment.
The 2030 Commitment is a global architecture and building industry initiative, aimed at achieving a carbon-neutral future. The 'By the Numbers' report tracks the progress and delineates the strides made by architects and designers towards this ambitious goal.
In addition to these two firms' work, all Maine reporting signatories collectively made Maine a leading state with an overall 62% reduced pEUI.
