AIA Maine Member Michael Pednault Starts New Firm
AIA Maine member Michael R. Pednault has established Alliance-DCM to hone his skills as a custom, single-family home designer, partner with local contractors in home construction and continue to offer residential property care services in the Sebago Lakes region. Having spent the last 15 years working for several Portland, Maine based architecture and engineering firms; he has an extensive, multi-faceted professional background in building design, project management, and construction administration.
“Founding this company has allowed me to bring together my professional experience and the exterior property care services we’ve offered for the past 3 years, all within one business. We’re more than just a full-service residential architecture firm, we’re a one-stop, all-inclusive home service provider” said Michael R. Pednault, AIA, NCARB, the company’s founding principal.
“My passion is in high-performance, sustainable single-family home design and construction and I started Alliance-DCM to do just that and more. I find that exceeding my clients’ expectations is not only rewarding but builds on the skill-sets I've acquired throughout my professional career.”
Having graduated from Norwich University in Vermont with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Minor in Art Studies, Michael went on to completing his architectural internship under the direction of several registered architects in southern Maine over the course of 15 years. He is now a Maine Licensed Architect, an NCARB Certified Professional and is an Architect Member of the AIA Maine Chapter.
