Mid-Coast Tour + Social

On September 17th, AIA Maine's Design Committee hosted its third Tour + Social of the year. AIA Maine members toured Toshiko Mori Architect's Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockland.

Jay Fischer, Owner and Project Manager of Cold Mountain Builders led the tour of the building as it was still under construction. The 11,630 sf building  with 2,310 sf open courtyard will provide the organization with greater visibility and visitor access, and will provide facilities more conducive to the showing of contemporary art.  The building is slated to open in the spring of 2016.

The tour was followed by food, refreshments and the chance to spend time with the local architectural community.
