Entry Level Interior Designer, Portland ME
SMRT has an opening for an entry level Interior Designer.
Graduate from a 4 year CIDA Accredited Interior Design School is highly desired.
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. Highly organized and detail oriented, good listening skills and the ability to produce high-quality work on time.
Able to prioritize work on multiple tasks based on workload and project demands with the direction of the Interior Design Director.
Ability to work on a team with opportunities for growth.
Plans to become NCIDQ certified are strongly encouraged.
Revit and AutoCad is required
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch-up is required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Primary responsibility is to support the interiors department across all market sectors.
Assistance with materials, furniture selections and product research
Assistance with developing presentation material, including concepts and 3D renderings/visualization.
Drawing production, including redline markups
Updating and maintaining the interiors library
Communication with manufacturer’s representatives
