Presents: MEETING THE 2030 CHALLENGE FOR MAINE ARCHITECTS AND BUILDERS
Gunnar Hubbard, Principal of Fore Solutions, will give a presentation on the 2030 Challenge, and then lead a discussion on what implications this has for the Maine architecture and building community. The 2030 Challenge asks the architecture and building community to adopt Green House Gas reduction goals for New and Existing Buildings. The progression of the reduction in fossil fuel is spread out over the next twenty years, arriving at a commitment to create and/or renovation buildings that are all carbon-neutral by the year 2030.
The presentation will be held in 2 locations. There is no fee and no registration is necessary. (1.5) HSW/SD learning units available.
